I built the foundation of my real estate career between running my kids to sports, getting dinner on the table, and carpooling like a pro. Before I knew it, I was selling 20-30 houses a year. But as my kids grew more independent, I realized my business was successful but chaotic. I knew if I wanted to take it to the next level, I needed systems—and fast.

Fast forward to today, I’m ranked as one of the top agents in individual ends for Canada, all while enjoying my evenings and weekends with family, fitness, or unwinding at home.

Here’s the secret: I’ve never cold-called or knocked on a single door. My business is entirely relationship-based in a city I didn’t grow up in, and I’ve built it on step-by-step systems that keep me in front of clients and my pipeline full—without sacrificing my personal time. I automate, delegate, and protect my work-life harmony fiercely.

I definitely didn't get here overnight though.

In fact, quite the opposite...

In the early years of my real estate career, I pouredthousands of dollars and hours into researching, learning through failures, and expensive marketing strategies, thinking they would magically unlock the path to success. But all I found was frustration and wasted time. It took a lot of trial and error to finally dial in what truly worked—and, surprisingly, it wasn’t expensive or complicated.

One of my biggest turning points came when I decided to scale my business. I had big plans but was still convinced that my success depended on my brokerage rather than my own vision. I shared my ideas with the trainer at the brokerage I was with at the time, expecting support. Instead, I was told my goals were too lofty and unrealistic. That moment could have crushed me—but instead, it fueled me. I realized that my business was mine to shape, so I made a bold move and pursued my plan anyway. I also switched to a brokerage that valued agent independence and encouraged us to build our careers our own way. After making that switch, new doors opened—opportunities for training other agents, speaking on stages, and stepping into leadership roles, none of which were available to me before. The result? I doubled my business in just one year and haven’t looked back since.

The biggest lesson I learned through it all was to trust my own instincts. I initially struggled to build systems that worked for me because I was too focused on following what others were doing. Once I gave myself permission to customize those systems to suit my lifestyle and goals, everything changed. That’s also what sets my coaching apart. I don’t just teach a one-size-fits-all approach—I work with each agent to create systems that align with their personal goals and lifestyle, ensuring the long-term success and balance they crave.

My biggest break throughs came when I realized my business was mine to control—not my brokerage’s. Once I trusted my instincts, customized my approach, and made bold moves, I doubled my business in just one year and have been scaling it ever since—now I help other agents do the same, on their own terms.

What's more, I did it differently than most...

Unlike many in the industry, I never relied on cold calling, door knocking, chasing FSBOs, or working with cold leads. The biggest trainers often preach that success comes from spending hours in the office making endless phone calls. As an introvert, that approach simply wasn’t aligned with who I am. It felt old school salesy and obnoxious so I built my business through relationship-based lead generation, focusing on one-to-one connections instead of mass calling or large networking events.

From the start, I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t build a business by doing things that drained my energy. That doesn’t mean I didn’t hustle—I worked hard, but I put my effort into activities that felt authentic to me and were sustainable long-term. My calendar has always reflected that: family and personal time came first, and everything work-related fit in around it. This commitment to work-life harmony didn’t just serve me—it’s what I now teach others. By helping agents craft systems that are true to their own values and lifestyles, I’ve seen them grow their businesses while enjoying their personal lives, proving that success doesn’t have to come at the cost of burnout.

It doesn't matter if no one else believes in you.

What matters is if YOU believe in you.

There will always be people who doubt your potential or tell you your goals are too ambitious. But their opinions don’t define your path—your belief in yourself does.

When I decided to scale my business, I faced skepticism and doubt, but I trusted my instincts and pushed forward anyway.

That self-belief not only doubled my business in one year, but it also taught me that the most important validation comes from within.

Success starts with trusting yourself, even when others can’t see the vision yet.

Born & raised on a farm at the US / CDN border in the south end of Saskatchewan - I grew up with a strong work ethic and love for the outdoors - I'm still happiest when I am outside and on the move!

  • I’m a lifelong student—whether it’s a new course, book, or skill, I’m always learning something new.

  • I love to travel, but when I’m home, you’ll often find me curled up with a book, possibly playing the piano, or out with friends.

  • My mornings are all about exercise and coffee—weights, kickboxing, and a good devotional or motivational podcast to kick off the day.

  • I’m a mom of 2 young adults, and proud dog mom!

  • In my downtime, I enjoy golfing and paddle boarding but tend to hide inside when winter hits.

  • My guilty pleasure? Pizza, a good movie, and of course, popcorn.

  • My favorite mantra: “One year from now, you’ll be glad you started today.”

Angela has Guild Status in the marketing of luxury homes, and sits in a leadership role at her national agency as she teaches business planning to new agents across Canada. Angela is a captivating leader, a brilliant strategist, and a third way thinker on behalf of her clients buying and selling in some of Saskatoon’s most unique neighborhoods.
